This is the last post of this blog... *sob* It's been 4 long years since it's first post. From JC, post JC riding days, Army, and a little till of poly and now!

This blog has gone through 1124posts, 4-5 revamps in layouts. 3 tag boards. And 10k hits.. heh, i wasn't expecting that much at all. Seems knda sad to just leave them all here...

Gore has never being this beautiful. The movie has a lot of slow motion stuff. The blood spilling was very artistically dramatic. I was never intrigued by blood and gore, until now.

Lots of naked bodies, 8 packed hunks. All hail the Queen of Spartan =)

After the movie, the group of Sean, Leon, Jonathan and Me went to youth park for makan and chit chat.

What's left later in the night was Leon and me, talking at Macs at Shaw house. We talked about a lot of stuff. Life, future, girls (or rather the trans that were walking about), and our close ones. A pretty good talk till morning 630am. Then we parted our ways.

Later in the afternoon, a try at mahjong landed me as the second highest winner! Bought ice cream for the family =P

I can't work on the next site for the blog, due to the stupid nameservers refresh rate of 24-72 hours. I understand now the different between wordpress.org and wordpress.com. After a fee of $15 bucks...

the .org is uploaded to your web host and you blog from there. The .com one allows you to blog online with lesser flexibility. Uber flexiblity is with the .org one.

So the stupid me signed up for the .com one, paid $15 bucks to direct the domain name to the blog at wordpress.com. Only to discover, i need to pay more to edit the css...

Here's how it came about:

I was just walking around the IT Show with my bro. With nothing in mind to buy. I was looking to try out Sony's latest digicam, T100.

*Caught eye of the Sony booth signs made a beeline for it*

Then there, the salesperson introduced the T100 to me. I fondled with it, pressed, went through everything in the cam. Man, it's a beauty. A powerful one too. I wasn't really into getting it now as I was saving for my bike. So.....

The next thing you know, it's in my hands at home. There, look at that photo.

Compulsive shopping will be the death of me someday.

Plus, the Japanese desserts at Marina square are pretty tasty. I want to eat there again. And again! and AGAIN!

Got this from my neighbour who went to US for a business trip. It's freaking sweet!! Pure peanut butter covered by Uber-sweet milk chocolate. One of the sweetest things i ate ever.

The other was Coffeeclub's Mudcake. Just thinking about it just made feel so bad eating that stuff.

I'm staying far away from those now.

Threadless sale! Consolidated orders here and then and the bill accounted up to the two hundreds! Thankfully, the US rate is back to S$1.50. (stupid deflict) More shopping to come!

Living room has turned into a temp war room for CnC 3 demo... Wireless keyboard and mouse. Wireless network... Ooo.... Big screen!

I kept reading Haruki Murakami's book. It's a good book. So dreamy. So surreal. Then suddenly i think that there are people that do nonsensical things too, like me! I shall not elaborate on that.

Mostly to think about stuff. About life, past present, future, the uncertainty and nothingness. I should go buy more of his books =)

A few days ago, I met up with Mauricette and we chatted up a little on holidays. She was going about why didn't i go overseas for this holidays? Regardless with company or not, it'll be fun. And get to make friends there... Get to rot somewhere out of home.

Hmm, i'll make a note for that during my next holidays.

It's been 2 days since i became a Prisoner of Rain (PoR). I'm stuck at home, with nothing to do. Maybe playing Dirge of Cerberus and Okami on PS2. That's about it. I WAS suppose to do some intervals training... Thanks Rain!

An acute syndrome of attraction to, or, mesmerised by the most famous girl group in the Hello! Project family - Morning Musume.

It is caused by the 'Morning Musume-san virus", only found to spread by watching MM videos and MTVs for more than 5 hours. Apparently, this syndrome affects mostly men that are exposed to MM. There are causalities, yet to be be found in the female gender.

Possible symptoms:
- Having more than 5GB worth of videos on MM in their comps
- Handphone wallpapers and ringtones are from MM
- Will faint on the sight of their favorite girl in MM doing something cute/ stupid
- Would watch their mtvs and videos repeatedly
- mimic the actions or sounds of the girls in MM. Eg, "Charmy!! Happy! by Rika Ishikawa"
- Feel happy when watching MM dancing and singing
- They think about MM throughout the day
- Know all the names of the girl in the group. Be it graduated or not.
- Spent time looking for more video feeds like youtube on MM
- listening to MM songs for hours

It seems that AMM doesn't have much detrimental effects. Possible non-detrimental effects are increased standards in ratings of girls, Increased attraction to Kawaii-ness, and increased levels of devotion of MM.

More research are being conducted on the long term effects of this intriguing new syndrome.

Please be advised that the symptoms varies with subjects. Please do not use this as a absolute guide for self-diagnosis. Consult a doctor if needed.

More visitations to other relatives. Both paternal and maternal sides. Lots of food and tibits to feel sinful for a lifetime. Luckily, self-control is still functioning. I felt pretty wore out by festive moods by this age. CNY is pretty fun as a kids where everyone would come play with you give you hong baos and force feed you with sweets. Nowadays, they force feed you with wine and liquor. How do you feel about CNY this year?

A pretty nice photo of my family, and the family dog too =) We do this every year on CNY! heh...

I wanna go travel around the world. That's my aim in life. I'm a wanderer. I like to discover new things. Explore. See new stuff around the world. Not really starting expeditions into unchartered lands. Just wanna see life outside of this island. So, anyone wanna go on a trip?

For this 3 weeks of holidays, I'm planning to enrich myself with learning new stuff...

Japanese would be one. Read up on health and medical stuff. Social interactions and behavior stuff. London trip. That's about it.

Then throw in a course on 'how to ride a road bike'. And go walk walk at MacRitchie! Train up for road cycling again.

Grab the same people for road cycling on weekends. Yay!

Happy Valentine's Day! woot~!

Went out shopping with Bro at Ikea. Got some stuff for my bookshelf. Tried the meatballs too! Not that bad!

Then the taxi ride was pretty entertaining with the taxi driver complaining about the jams on Valentine's day at couples places like Orchard, ECP, Sentosa areas. I was pretty much laughing throughout the jam.

Ran for abut 3km at night. Lovely breeze... I ran without stopping! Finally! Played a little wow here and there.

Oh Valentine's Day.. Where have all the love gone to? lol

I'm so call emotionally neutral...
Relationship dependent and emotionally self-sufficient. Good balance between emotional warmth and distance in appropriate situations. Aren't too emotionally needy, neither aloof or detached. Enjoy a little spontaneity as long as i have some order in life. I maintain the balance of relationship dependence and emotionally self-sufficiency BASED ON situations... Consciously or subconsciously.... Thus, switching personality at different environments.

This photo.. I'm really touched by this photo. Taking a shot at Fifi being steady is really rare. As in wide awake, not those prank shots of her sleeping and dreaming about chasing after ice cream. i would definitely print this out someday =)

Last night was just another day at MJ's house trying to save the world from Dr Doom in Marvel Alliance ultimate. It took 3 players, 9 hours, tonnes of drinks and snacks to stay awake. Pretty interesting game play with the point addition system. Each of us trying to be the 1st in the scores.

Then i gotta save my own arse from being burn by my parents for not calling back or for missing 15 calls and 24 smses.... You can see the panic level rise up in the house... Some explaination and a tub of Ben's and Jerry's ice cream did the trick.

Gonna go wash and cycle tomorrow... And cut my horrible hair lol...

I was out the whole day today.... Morning Dim Sum at harnourfront became a ala carte lunch dim sum buffet. Then shopping at Vivocity! Yay! got a pair of nice black leather shoes. Pretty simple design. More for a walking kinda shoe... Then got a shirt from Zara... Still thinking about that brown coat from the shop at Sembawang.... Should I? Need to take pictures of it. Went around window shopping with the girls, looking at jap stuff at Daisho. And the furry pets at the Safari shop.

Then met up with Rose for dinner at PS. Pizza at Pizza hut =) Haven't had it for a while. Then went walking around and caught the 'Miss Potter' movie! A nice heartwarming show about the author of Peter Jack The Rabbit. I used to read them a long long time ago. Like when i was 6? Oh well! Those were the days....

Did i mention i bought Burning Crusade? lol! I'm back to casual playing on WoW. Was pretty surprised that i wasn't kicked from the guild yet! I think i shocked quite a few people =P

Went to Vivocity for dinner with the ODAc people that went for surf and sweat at sentosa! ZeBin got 4th in the Open Cat! Grats ZB!

Did some shopping at Gap... bought a pair of jeans and a checkered long sleeve shirt. I wonder how am i gonna wear that with... lol

Then we had Dinner at White dog cafe and lovely desert at Ben's and Jerry's!! The ice cream was fabulous! And the waitress is cute too! lol!

Then went back home for some much needed rest for more studying tomorrow. I don't mug. I hate mugging...

This is so rare. I'm blogging in the afternoon. I can't study for my exams due to the freaking NPCC group in the school next door. I'll leave it for tonight...

Twenty one years and 3 months have passed since i was born. I have made a lot of decisions that has affected me in someway. Well, the progress of the future to be exact. The choice of school, the choice of colour of the socks, the choice to change, the choice to smoke, the choice to have fun, the choice to have sex, the choice to study, the choice to be a delinquent, the choice to be nice, the choice to be an ass. What would i have become?

It was pretty intriguing that if what if i chose the other choice? The few thousand million infinitely large number of choices that have gone missing in time. Is life just a linear line that is ongoing with lots of choices you can choose, but you can only choose one path? One outcome? What if the other 'you' chose the choice that you didn't? A choice can lead to different choices in the future of your life.

Imagine the life you have now is just a small part in the infinite web of other possibilities. Like infinite parallel dimensions with a 'you' in each of it. All taking a different decision and a different path for a different outcome. A different future. A different you in some way.

i thought about this sometime back when i was a small kid... But then, since Einstein published his quantum theory way much earlier.I haven't even read his theory at that time....

Decisions do change your life. Some come with joy. Some with regrets. Some choose to run away from making a choice. They are all choices in the end.

So the next time you do a 60 multiple choice question test, think carefully! lol

Got a 'book' from Jie about "How to talk to any one". Pretty interesting. I was halfway through it on the first read. Teaches how to make a conversation good and easy with a few trick and there.

I admit. I suck at conversations. I listen a lot... The output is little =(

I shall see how this little 'book' improves me.

Another game of badminton. Another new racket. Another pair of shoes destroyed. Badminton is a destructive game. Lots of explosive moments that that bound to destroy your most trusty shoes. Period.

I was pretty in a light-hearted mood when strolling back home from the station after the game. I saw this couple practicing ball-room dancing at the big shelter for events. Pretty interesting =)

Then it reminded of what MJ said earlier in the evening. " Why do people fall in love? Why don't people don't fall into friendship? But they make friends?" Hmm, interesting thought. In my opinion, people 'fall' into love because it it just happen unknowingly. This attachment of love isn't premeditated. It 'just' happen. It's a mysterious phenomenon. Ooo...

Then, there was a breeze.

I love breezes. Especially at night. It feels so comforting, soothe the soul =P Just like the times when I was cycling late in the night. Alone, as usual. Since no one was interested in a little self torture in the most enjoyable way possible, I'm always cycling long distance by myself.

I got used to it after a while. Thanks to the windchill and night breeze. Hah... I got numbed by it. I kept on cycling into the night. The tiredness in the legs, the blurness in the mind, the thought of going home. Subarashi ne! Feels like i was reborn better and stronger after every long ride =) Testing limits of my body and mind....

I was stuck at the Wheelock's Starbucks for 4 hours. 5 maybe...

2 hours spent on studying gastro-intestinal tract. 2hours spent on looking around and doodling.

Lots of people were running in the ran. Some girls took off their flip flops and walked barefooted in the rain, sharing an umbrella with her friend. Occasionally tipping the umbrella to get a feel of the raindrops. Both giggled cheerfully.

Some braved the rain, enjoying it rather. Walking in the rain, they embraced every rain drop felt on the faces. Other ran for shelter at Starbucks. They sat down with a hot cup of coffee in their hands. The warmth spread throughout their body with every sip...

All these happened with i was stuck there, doodling life-like tree trunks and leaves on my doodle book. I still suck are water ripples...

I managed to meet Tim and Ananda for a bit when the rain slowed to a drizzle. They look so different. Tim was wearing a suit for his cousin's wedding later, Ananda had long hair, dyed brown. I could recognise him in the first place. Haha! Just a cup of tea and a little catching =)

Then it's rush back home to change for badminton at TPCC. It was still raining!

Blah, the rest is 2 hours of gruesome whacking. then here I am!

Hmm, tried sprinting with the new racer shoes i bought. Very light, nice grip. But only for sprinting..... Long distance will still be on that cross trainer.

I felt like flying with it. Seriously, i never thought sprinting was so much fun before! Hmm, i shall make a sprinting interval training every friday ^^

I'm broke. After the shoes of course. I won't be spending much on commodities anymore. No more taxis too. I need to save $2.5k for the bike. Hopefully i can get it during my holidays! sheer euphoria!

Let's write something interesting today. Kolhberg's Theory on Moral development!

This guy thought of 3 levels of moral development in humans. And in these 4 levels, there are 6 stages!

Level 1 (Pre-conventional level)
In this, level of development, it usually happens to children.

Stage 1

Obedience and Punishment
- Act is percieved as morally wrong
- person who committed the act gets punished

Stage 2

What is it in for me? (One's own best interest)
- Little interest in the needs of others, just to further own interest
- not based on respect or loyalty

Level 2 (Conventional Level)
Happens in adolescents and adults

Stage 3
Individual enter society by filling social roles (Good boy/ Good girl concept)
- live up to expectations due to inherent value of being good
- judge morality of its values by evaluating its consequences
- respect gratitude, 'treat others as you like to be treated'
-reasoning

Stage 4
-Obey laws, dictum and social conventions
- values importance of maintaining a functioning society
- transcend individual needs
- go for central ideal to say right or wrong

Level 3 (Post-conventional)

Stage 5
-individual holding different views and opinion
- paramount to be respected and honored impartially
- no single choice is correct and absolute
- laws that don't promote general social welfare should be changed for 'Greatest good for the greatest numbe rof people'

So have you thought of any experiences from young to now that this is how your mora; development is? Trial and error. Evolving to give to society. following its rules. Then to discover after the amount of experiences that there is no absolute from different point of views? Going against the rules because times have changed and it is irrelevant to current times?

i shalln't say that this is the correct version of his theory. This is a summarised version I got while researching on moral values for school work... And perhaps it has been misinterpreted by others or me. Oh well.... Haruhism rules! Any ESPers, space aliens or time travellers wanna come out to play and make a world full of fun with me? =P

Lots of people! Lots of mud! Soap and everything nasty! Especially yellow noodles + flour + mud water + camo cream + tea powder down your head!

I didn't want to get dirty as i was going out later... So i can't get good close up shots. So i ran around a few places with my running nose...

Then, i fell into the small lokang on the slope... WTH.... bad karma. Really. Nothing broke, was still again to run and jump around taking shots. Just a few scratches.

Hmm, i have noticed that my language has been pretty screwed up recently. Past and present tenses are all jumbled up. Need to take note on that...

So in the end, i cancelled the night shot at night and rested at home under 3 layers of shirt, jacket and blanket... Cold, I was.... lying in bed... weak, throat cracking due to sorethroat... I can't even talk... everything i said was in whispers...

I like whispering! I find it difficult to talk sometimes... Seems like i need quite a bit of effort to talk. Physical difficulties? *shrugs*

I prefer to whisper.

The clinical stint at SGH is over! Back to school next week!

ODAC orientation is tomorrow. The same disgusting ritual that happens every year. I guess i'll pop by for a bit. 10th batch for this year i think! I was from the 5th. Heh... ODAC Alumni is getting bigger!

Well, being in ODAC had certainly made me stronger in lots of ways. Learned a lot of things. Picked up photography and the love for cycling. Went closer to nature. Broke my own personal barriers. Saw how the world looked like outside Singapore. Saw the fighting spirit of humanity....

Let talk about dreams.

Those imaginary dreams that you have since young. Like you dream that you can fly, walk through walls, live as a king with a fortune or a princess with prince charming. Yep, those imaginary stuff we had when we were kids. I had lots of those, like flying around, saving the world, being spiderman, being able to move things with our minds and such...

Sadly, reality grabs a hold of us when we grow older. We lose some of those dreams that we had. Yet, we create realistic ones as we go through life. Going through life, we gain the knowledge of what is obtainable and realistic. Childish dreams of flying being replaced by been a pilot of a plane. Then some of them boils down to getting rich, have a good life, do what we want in a real way.

Well, i have a few dreams. But i'm particularly intrigued by this one.

Wander around the world for eternity freely without restrictions. That's the imaginative version. I would like to fly around, looking at how people live and animals live. Be it in the middle of the earth of in the depths of the sea or how minute the organism can be. I wish i can be able to see everything on this planet.

Well then, so i grow up and get brainwashed by realism.

So now it's "I wanna earn money to travel around the world and take photos on my journeys!" With the current state of realism you have while reading is post, i believed you can picture what is needed to start this dream. Throw in all those restrictions like international conflict, currency exchange, wars, health problems and such matters. I'll most probably die halfway while realizing this dream.

Ooo... what big dreams i have! Perhaps i can go on after life, but i don't have enough information to support that.

Or i can start small. Get a bike cycle around Singapore, see places i have never gone to. Then overseas? heh... lots of ideas....

There WILL be obstacles. Hey, that's life for you! Too much complications we have implemented on ourselves. Passport, flying tickets... blah... MONEY!!! So money comes in again and turn most dreams into her direction.

How about a dream that won't go to that way to the money sign? Hmm... Perhaps when i sleep.... Feel free to comment! What are you most crazy dream you have ever thought of? Imagine and have fun!

I've canceled my subscription for WoW. It ends on 5th March. I'm stopping WoW. I have decided....

It isn't an addiction to me. Lately it had just became a chore to play this game. Raiding is at 8am daily. I haven't had a morning sleep in for 6 months. All of it was spent on raiding in the morning. I gave up meeting friends to rollerblade, to cycle, to exercise. I grew fat as a result. I've have neglected my family too due to this game.

What made me wake up from this delusional dream was the night spent at MOS. I haven't had much to talk about as all i knew was WoW. Nothing much from the outside world. Then the rest kept talking about their experiences outside. About how fun or sad it was, how infuriating it was? How can i talk about the epic weapons and armor i got from MC compared to all that? Pixelated items VS real-life things that are slimly , evil, sweet smelling with a touch of class?

I sincerely apologize to all those that have been neglected for the past 6months, with 73hours of gameplay on that character 'Asuranwind'.
*Tears roll down a cheek and bows*

I shall start life renewed. First, with me getting back riding my faithful 'wife', my bike. Then get a new bike. And a first trip overseas for a photoshoot. Any one interested? Holidays are in March!

A brand new year to begin with. ANy new year resolutions? Perhaps one. Get back to cycling. That would be good. Nice and simple.

My bio clockwork is in the chaotic situtation now. I can fall asleep at 9pm and then be up fresh at 1am. So i'll spend most of the night either tossing around thinking about stuff. Stuff like "How can the insignificant me in this family, in this build, in this neighboorhood, in this country, in this part of the world, in this solar system go on about life aimlessly?"

Yes, it's that so called goal searching thingy again. I don't crave for fame or money. I crave for something something higher on the triangle of needs. But what is it? I don't wish to go part to my apathic way... Imagine me just in bed not giving a damn about the world around me, no drive, nothing. For a whole month. Life was seeping out of my hollow shell. Mom was urging me to go do something. I still laid in bed... Staring at the ceiling. Seconds ticked by...hours... days.... Staring at the ceiling....

I woke up one day. And here i am. Aimlessly.

"Two decades and a year of.." A beautiful and exciting night of partying at Daybedbar and Ministry of Sound. Both place were a first for me, since i don't really club much anymore. I saw a lot of people that i wasn't really expecting to be there. It was pretty much another gathering to meet up.

MOS music is great! I'm seriously sick of rap R&B.... R&B without rapping is ok. It's the crappy rap part. House music was good! I'm haven't really heard much house music to give a good grading yet. The room we had had a very nice lounge ambience. "The Red Room", it was called. Met lots of new people there. Old school mates, new faces, Han's friends and such. Chivas is nice damn it! lol! I drank quite a bit at Daybedbar before MOS... 2 shots and some drink. Then a few more at MOS.

Stayed till 430am! Then went to Macs with a few new met friends to sit out for the first trains to move.

Went out to help Rosemary do her photos for her project. Then it rained...and rained.... Lots of shaky shoots as i was lazy to use tripod. Just wanted her to try out photography at the same time. She has to use an ancient SLR. It was heavy, metallic, but the mechanism sounded cool! Films are expensive... So i made her shoot to her hearts content on the DSLR.... We all have shaky hands.

It's been a while since i slept at 10pm... the feeling is just so nice.... I'm becoming a couch potato WoW and the 42 inch tv...... argh.... then i have so many parties to go to!!! Tim's on fridays, Han's and Sunny's on Sat 30 Dec.

It's about a fellow WoW player on how WoW has taken a toll on him. I have seen some of the effect mentioned by him. And i'm guilty of some things at an addicted person might do to accomplish more in that game. I went out lesser and lesser, turned down appointments. Got fat. And now i'm thinking of "Why am I doing this?" For the 'false sense" accomplishments that i can't achieve in real life? My love for fantasy has boundaries as wide of the Universe. I can't seem to find 'real life' interesting anymore =(

Everyone is just working hard due to the fact that's it is essential to get a good life in SG. It is just like following the crowd. Good education = degree = good life, money rich and all those materialistic means. It's so boring.... I get the message that education is important. On a personal note, a few goals to set for myself every year. And i fail to review them every year....

1) Get organised. I want my kino organiser! It's so uber cool! and Expensive... Hopefully, it can replace the Dell *ahem* crappy *cough cough* PDA.

2) Do more photography! The camera has been rotting there for a while.

3) Stay healthy and fit. I need to work on my stamina and built... Getting flabby.

The girls in class are complaining about the lecturers singling them out for short skirts and filpflops, or in their perspective 'elegant looking slippers'. Well, the rules in poly states that no skirts above the knee. (Ahem, stop staring that the pic, or the curves in rather) But no one cares about it. It's a parade of lovely legs every morning =D The rules should evolve with the present state of affairs at the present period. Walking 'lanterns' are no longer visible at 20% of the population of the ladies walking in orchard.

I'm not saying that we should change the rules according to the fashion statement. I'm saying we should change according to how old rules that are no applicable at this time. Yes! I 'graduated' from WoW PVP with a "Marshal" Rank! 2 months of hopeless and endless grinding has reaped its results! I get more epics! I'm full purple! now to get More from MC =( So it' sback to normal playing mode now... PVP is fun, I loved the way 40 total strangers from different server word together to obtain a common goal. I got tired... heh... It's impossible for me to get to Field Marshal with my tight schedule. So i'll stop pvp for now.

Well, this new keyboard did catch my attention awy from Tarantula. So smooth and simple. But it's the same keyboard design that was released 4 years ago by the same company that creative has gotten the design from. It's just a new packaging... That is a big turnoff... The search for a black keyboard goes on.. Hopefully i get something at SITEX at the end of the month.

I think i made a good decision for not getting the Tarantula hastily... I believe a normal black keyboard would be sufficient for WoW. Now i play for fun, not for the phat loot. =)

Well, school's back! *whimpers* Basically learning more on the axial skeleton and the messy cranial nerves of the brain in the time being... Timetable doesn't even allow one day of weekday morning raiding to be done. Was considering to transfer to a all-singaporean guild to raid every night... But then, I can't do that. Studies would drop and there goes the bond. So i'm stinking to weekends morning raids. No one will pester me on that >.<

On the side note, it's october! One more month to my birthday, 30 Nov! hint hint*. The sad thing is, i'll be in school on that day!! *grumble* Maybe a nice saturday dinner would be good.

Heh, i was on a small break in wow land, and the betrayal happened. The guild leaders took off with the guild bank while the guild was raiding AQ. Left without a word. I was so f-ing sadden that this shit. But good news is the guild officers managed to get everyone togther in a new guild under new management. Lots of work to be done for just a small guild of 50 people.

Burning Crusade is coming out in end November/ EArly December! I need to rush down to SLS to check out any pre-orders for the expansion.

Thoughts of saving up for a trip overseas have pulled me to 2 desicions. To Japan or Sydney? damn....

heh, at bugis Starbucks now. Finally able to tap into the network supplied by Mac. Just a little break from WoW and a little indulgence in coffee and oreo chessecake.

Talking about WoW, the guild's has been rather riled up with a few issue of members not turning up raids and rules changing without much notice. All this tension started from the episode of guildies leaving on the spur and such. hen the profanityies used on the Ventrillo server is gettin gmore out of hand. Cussing and and being drunk online always creates arguements and disparity between each other. I'm disappointed that some of them are contented with their gear and decided not to raid until they go on to a newer content. SO they expect a smooth transition on to a new instance while the other work their asses off to test out the new content? This attitude is crap. Sigh, the guild is at a low stage of morale now. And the guild leaders aren't doing anything. On the surface. I'm not too sure about that underneath. MAybe they are testing the members of the guild, looking for the one that would stay on this difficult period? We are the elite raiding guild of the server, but all this little internal problems are getting out of hand. Hope that this can be sorted out soon.

And yes, I spent my first 2 weeks playing WoW. The whole damned day! It's not that monotonous. I can do whatever things i want to do. raiding in the morning, PVP in the afternoon, instances at night or more pvp . It's fun, and the people in the guild are fun too. If they know how to control their talking. They have the right to say what they want to say. But this right should not be abused to spout discerning remarks and profanities.. It's really getting irksome at some point that i have to mute the channel.

Oh well, i think i'll write till here. Bro's getting bored sitting at table. Gotta go check out my lcd monitor at SLS! later!

Trying to related the examples to real life is so hard >.< Now i'm so tried after typing hard a page of crap in word and i'm too late to continue... grr...

I think i should blog about it in the future so i can learn and the rest of you can too! =)

Maybe we can start now!

There are 3 sociological perspectives Structural functionalism , Conflict theory, and symbolic interactionalism.

Let's start with Structural Functionalism today!

How do you relate society as? An object or an organism? If various events like economic factors, war and death, cause changes to affect the usual life of the city. Can it evolve to react to it or assimilate to acheive a new state of equilibrium, like before?

If you think that this example is pretty much what you have in mind, that Structural Functionalism(let's call it SF for short). =)

A few important things about SFis that each specific components in that society is interdependent on another component. Who are these components as you may think? Me, him, your mum, boss? It's EVERYONE! =) They are futher grouped under diferent headings like your family, school, work office, police, courts, military, parliment. They all can affect each other, may i so to speak? Thinking on a more wider scope, intercountry relations or inter-planetary relations or inter-galaxy relations =P

Another main factor is ORDER! Social order. you see, each component plays a role or function in this 'organism'(society) They affect each other in a good or bad way. So due to this interdependency, an equilibrium state is achieved as everyone is cosy with each other. *Barney's song of 'I love you, You love me" starts playing in the background* If something causes a event to disrupt this equilibrium, the organism would evolve to react to that event. Eg, *Takes a shotgun and shoots BArney Bang Bang!* the organism would react to acheive a new state of equilibrium after the aftermath of that irritating purple dinosaur =) So life goes on in the new equilibrium with the death of Barney... For a more remarkable exmaple, compare thelife before 911 and now. How goes our new equilibrium?

Hmm, I was interogated by 4 girls today! omg.. Just that i was getting a little friendly with this girl, J. And with the trend in class where almost everyone is getting their another half in this phase of life, suspisions arose! Argh! The signs of life that i'm getting old... heh, i'm not getting any girlfriends at this time yet. Found no one to my tastes. Previous few choices were more like "desparation-out-of-NS-to-get-a-girlfriend-syndrome". Now i'm clearing away the desparation, and i think i know what kind a girl i would like. =) Not telling anyone, so let fate and destiny be our only meeting factors =P

currently 58 on WoW! I can raid now! Yay! I should be joining the raid on a Wednesday morning 8 am(no lessons till 1pm =P) ZG! I wanna see my first ever Epic drop! lol, and i just bought an Epic gun for 150G today... Heart pain! Precisely Calibrated Broomstick, check it out if you want.

The guild's great! made a lot of nice pals online and had lots of fun! I love the international circle! Playing on a specified server for a country sucks. I had a lot of experiences on RO and Maplestory, i cannot stand the locale slang and attitude... grr... Americans, Aussies, French and Canadians are so fun! Some Chinese too! lol, "Ni Hao!"

I think my mom wouldn't be pleased to see me waking up early just to play games... hmm

I think WoW is more than a game =P It's a little internet chatroom form me too. HAH~! I can picklock boxes in Ironforge, earn some tips at the same time, having fun and meeting lots of my customers from all over the world! RP is fun! I never had such a nice MMORPG that has lots of diversity and life. The guild plays a big part of the gameplay. It's a whole new society online at your fingertips. It's possible to see aspects of societal relations on board this game. A model of society that isn't bounded by much difficulties in expressions and habits =)

After much viewing through Koda Kumi's Best DVD that is accopanied with the cds, I noticed that the cams are usually focusng on her breasts and her obvious actions of caressing them 2 - 3 times per music video! O.o , Her music videos are kinda average... Not as good at Ayumi Hamasaki which always have a story in each mtv. She certainly needs to rely less on sexual prowness to own every one on the Orion charts =/

Hmm, life is just school, WoW jap lessons, blading. Renewed? not really, I need to get back on my bike and off the chair in from of my pc.

The lymph node at my left hip joint (near the navel) swelled up! Pretty much uncomfortable when walking or even running.. So this adds another weight to the reason of not excerising for a while.

School's the usual fun about body parts and stuff. My results are high and average... gah.. need to work on those scores! I'm aiming for B's at the moment so yeah!

I bought Utada Hikaru's Ultra Blue and Koda Kumi Best ~first things~ during last weeks shopping with MJ! Utada is still as UBER as ever even after a 4 year break of releasing albums! Koda kumi is pretty much so so.. =P Utada's songs have more feeling and touch =) Utada FTW!

I still need to take more photos! Grr... I have still yet to upload photos of teh Titiwangsa trip up my flickr! Or you guys can get a little preview at Lek's account.

I'm feeling that i'm always drifting around like a listless Undead rogue walking around in stealth mode.... I love the game, but i'm addicted to it. Yes, i dream about the game lol! It's a fantasy! Adds color to the dreams instead of the usual drama stuff i'm getting.... =P

oh well, feeling kinda hopeless with my spending in WoW! I'm forever broke! just surviving barely on 4-5 g.... Need more gold! ah!!!! need more patterns to make stuff to sell!

Blizzard Server transfers are so unfair! STeamwheedle Cartel is an RP server where the community there is super close. MC is not even conquered by the natives yet! And now the lv 60 transfers iwth T2 are coming in and ruining the whole show and gameplay! What the hell is the money mind Blizzard thinking? Pathetic, Brainless! SWC is still at its virgin state of just 4-5 months old! Do you think that those High end instances are already done by the natives? no!

Crap... Crap... It ruins the gameplay when all the hard work you put in to grow with the community in the server get invaders by "L33t god-like" wannabe lamers rejects from other servers to SWC.

Well the expedition ended and so back to school for me. It's been a great week so far, getting bonded means i have a little allowance so that i can relieve the burden of my parents. Relaxation after the test on wednesday. But i'm still lethagic from the exped.. I don't think i have enough rest yet =P Maybe Wow had something to do with it. Oh well, at level 48, and grinding for Timbermaw Rep it's hard to stop.

But hey! I did came up with a timetable to study in the afternoon and relax a little at night with some light reading of the notes and stuff. Gotta maintain my scorces, or i'm bounded not bonded....

Hmm, I think i ahve eaten quite a bit for today... Must be due to the XP and the crazy appetite start coming back. I spent 12 bucks on food itself today! OMG!

Hey, spending the past few days studying and playing WoW. Excerised too. Shagged...

It's been a while since i started WoW. I'm glad i did =) I got into the top 3 guilds in server Steamwheedle Cartel. Bro's playing on my server too. So is kelvin! Weee~! This server is ideal for more relaxing playtime. No rushing and tension. heh, roleplay all you want!

BTW, my guild's Enders just started around the time i bought the game =P So i'm pretty much lucky. Gotta thank, Irr, Glyph, Regnak, Kat, Bromber, Varoc for such and enjoyable time together. I'll be joining hte ranks of 60 very soon. currently a lvl 45 rogue.. MAking a Mage heh..

An eventful week! ORD loh! Plus i still can't believe that i have to run here and there to get signatures and finding them in the tough part! It's like questing in real life! Just like WoW... Lots of shocks in the day... and almost couldn't ORD cause the CO was busy! OMG~! But we persisted and we got it! hehe~! If you wanna elaborate the story, ask me... haha, pretty exciting!

I entered BMT with Timonthy from day 1 and ended our NS stint together till the last day! Fated? hmmm... Then Tim bought us (me, Kelvin) to Tanah Merah Golf course for dinner! First time to a golf course! lol, like a scene in WOW... heh, dinner was charged to his Dad'd account =X Thanks Tim's dad!

Then almost rammed into a car when Tim was driving... He dozed off! OMG, if i didn't alert him dozing off, i don't know what' sthe outcome.... Safety reminder to all!

The day is here. The pre-start of the civilian conversion course. And the end of the regimental life of 2 years 4 months. But looking back, this period of time has teach me lots, enriched me with experiences that I can never get outside in the coperate world.

Well, these experiences of sudden happenings be it major ones or smaller one have a inner meaning to me. Each of them made me a little stronger, forced me to my ends, ripped me to a million pieces, feeling cautious, thinking ahead before things can happen, how things can happen, how the upper and lower houses would react to these, interpersonel behaviour, getting used to being sqeezed by the balls, going against your body clock and sleep, thinking of possible solutions on the spot, thinking of how to explain to superiors later and not get implicated too much, not wandering out of our jurisdiction thus lesser work load, help improve life of others while you can, maintain good relations with others, firm with pleads that goes against regulations and morale, maintaining standards, making new standards, destroying unwanted habits, introducing new ones, maintaining one's principles as far as possible, looking for to the day of satisfaction you get when you look back at what you have done so far, cry when the new era changes everything you have paved , squabbles prevail, integrity questioned, the look at the person's face that you have let everyone down due to a choice that is unpopular, staying firm against the odds, remain calm, think the steps thru of what went wrong, analyse, search, inquiry, seek, pushing limits, one onselves limits, keep pushing over limits, most important of all, REMEMBER the times of hardships and lessons and experience! They shaped a part of you today!

Do this reflection on the eve of your ORD day. Then we can all look forward to the day of ORD! Good job you deserved it!

Only then you are converted back to a Civilian. =P

It's been a while. Now i'm kinda into watching Anime more than WoW =P Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex or GITS: SAC is pretty much a politcal themed action anime with the beautiful Motoko Kunasagi! Weee~! Pretty interesting theory on the Standalone Complex. Till now, I still don't understand the theory =P Events that triggered by one main idea, with it manipulation of information and generate more events to add one. Like impersonating of the actuallu criminal like that... Heh.. I still catch no ball sometimes lo!

Learned something new today. Social inattention, It's a behaviour cultivated by city dwellers when i comes to meeting alot of people. Eg, like walking on the streets where countless of people just walk pass you. Most probably you wouldn't be aware of their prescence because you have being accustomed to social inattention.

let's say if you're living in a small town that you know everyone closely, it's just a little community. But social inattention wouldn't be very much in progress as you most prb have to say 'Hi' to everyone within a few steps of walking. It helps us with our social life, otherwise he would be quite traumatised to walk on the streets everyday.

In other words, It's 'dao'....

A pretty interesting topic. Combined with WoW it's a wonder! heh... Well, you get to see various patterns in how the people goes around the world. I feel taht i'm at my peak! Heh~! Well, i'm studying alomst 2-3 hours extra everyday! renewing what i learn in lectures and stuff. Poly is so fun! Looking back, studying in JC is like a graveyard. mug mug mug! WTF! Just cramming 5 hours non-stop during the exams made me got it all confused. So i think is my studying method that's screwed up... I'm finding excuses here, but the pace is just right for me. Can't really say i get the drive to learn much from my class teachers. Teachers attiude and charm really works on me... heh...

Ok, wasted the whole day today playing WoW. Omg... I still gotta check out the rutherford's gold foil experiment stuff and Bohr's model of the Hydrogem atom! I know nuts about them! So as a result i shall bury myself into books at the library tomorrow after school till 5pm. Heh, then it's some light internet stuff on school stuff at home. Yeah that's it!

Now i can Wow with no frustration for lags and various impedements! Wee`!

So gotta wait for my Laptop next week.. that would be my designing learning tool!

This comp is gamer's priority and a desiging secondary! Wee~!

Currently, i'm broke! Er... Selection of Electives tomorrow! OMG~! The next week school ends at 7pm on mondays! and starts at 9am! OMG!

Ok, the jap lesson at Bunka was very interesting! Really learn how the sentence structure of the language. Now i can understand how the language is structured!

Currently brushing up on my HTML and refreshing CSS. Hmmm, i think it's time for me to start taking up a domain site for my blog. So i'll be learning lots of stuff when i'm free. Found the usefulness of Wordpress with blogging and stuff. Or shoul di share with someone? My bro? nah, keeps saying so little space for webhosting... 10GB no enough? hmm... he's forever rubbing it down... that's why i seldom play games with him ever since he became like that. oh well.

Omg! Just discoverd that Shakugan No Shana did not come from a manga series! I was from a novel series!! EEEek! The novel series started from 2002 with volume one and it's still ongoing with the latest volume XII! Omg! I'm so gonna study jap now! Wee~!

Lectures in poly are so mre fun! No scolding form the lectures to make us quieten down and pay attention! So nice! Gotta study tomorrow morning on carbohydrates, nucleotide, Polysaacrides and Ceili on more stuff like that... OMG... Good night!

Uploaded the pics taken on SAt with MJ, and Noel. Didn't have much mood to take after the security incident at 'some' building... HAiz.. So here are soem of the OK ones.

It's 10 past 1am now. I have a lecture at 10am tomorrow. I WANT TO SLEEP! But i keep thinking about the triubles that's happening right now. Currently NS and school running in together. This transition period is killing me! Taking leave for school is seriously no joke... Should have disrupted back then. But... Anyways, I'm worried about whether i can settle this transition with all the camp stuff settled smoothly and NOT miss my lessons too! Damn! I have to worry about 2 sides! This grinding is driving me nuts!

How i wish i can have a break to go on a holiday! to somewhere nice to relax and enjoy. No! Poly changed their commencement date to april then shit started happening.... Cramped. Squeezed. Tensed. I feel that my heart is being tightened by the 2 factors. Grr... I'm really looking forward to having a nice relaxing holiday... *Sob sob*

Then studies wise, i'm having external Japanese lessons outside. CAn i cope? DAMN!!!! I need a roll-in to the studing phase SLOWLY not throw me back in immediately! GAh! If i didn't start school now, I'll have to wait for a year! And i don't think that my application to Uni would be successful anyway.

Gah! Curse all that give me troubles! Curse them to live a normal live while i life a more happening, stressed and exciting life! AHHH!!!
