Lots have happened during the past week.

Drew my doodling on the bloody cloth... Not really happy with it. Grr... Black rules!

Had my first parade! so fun and cool! Argh... everything must be perfect! Timing, steps, turning, wheeling!!! argh!!!

THen had my swimming test right after the parade rehersal... After 1.5laps i got quite panicky and i can't really breathe. So i have to hold my breath concentrate for the remaining distance... Almost failed there... argh! I need more swimming lessons.

Had Games day today. Well, imagine 2000 people in a parade square, all guys, jumping up and down like mad, scream at the top of their voices. Noisy.

I did the banner for my platoon. I think it's a bloody total disaster! A gentle reminder to self that all the doodle i drew shall always remain small and ONLY on paper. I was truely amazed by the Taurus drill squad. Their circle formation was 'perfect'! Although there were some mistakes here and there, their drill was good! Games day a nice day to slack. OC and sergeants dun care about you, so even if you sleep throughtout the games you might go off scott-free. Should have done that.

Damn tired... cycled for only 15km and i'm dozing off in front of the pc... heck... sleep! gonna type more on my experience in BMT tomorrow afternoon or night. Tomorrow gonna look for a helmet... argh...

When i'm outside yesterday, i ate an upsized chicken whopper meal and a mushroom double swiss burger... Then at home after dinner, curry puff and some muffins... me going fat! I hope my metabolism can digest every thing nicely.

Discovered that how much i was disconnected from the outside world, especially the natural world, since i went into NS... I sort of neglected the surroundings around me... There were days that i didn't even take a few minutes to have a look at the clouds in the sky and appreciate the beauty that was always above my head... got disconnected from current affairs too. The Nicole highway thingy... Iraqi prisoners been treated like shit in Kuwait... Mum's first trip to overseas in her entire life till now.. Heh, she's going to HK with grandma and aunt =) Well, that is during the week when my bro and i POP out of BMTC.. hehe.. =P Mine's on 4th june, Bro's and 5th June.. Wouldn't encourage my father to go to Tekong for 2 consecutive days!!!

Army seemed to have taken some stuff like my precious time and freedom from me, it has given me stuff in return as well. Well, for instance, i really do not have the voice to scream out loud and would have a bloody sore throat after that. Now, i can SHOUT!!! hehehe..... that's one of the few stuff. Yeah, learnt lots from army!!! Kinda enjoy though!!! But i don't think that a career in army would pop into my mind... maybe in the future? haha... let time tell...

A great day in camp today! The last lesson of BCCT was rather good. Heh, the instructor is rather crappy... grr.... Me dun like my legs wide apart and held there for a while... So, bye bye BCCT instructor!!!! hehe....

Then a little swim for divers... yeah yeah, i'm a diver!!!! Improved lots on my freestyle! Ayu and me just keep swimming for an uncountable number of laps.. haha... Ended up swimming past some of the less coordination inclined, hehe =P

threw live grenade!!!!! hehehe!!! DAMN LOUD!!!!!! but the demo for disposing blinds were even louder!! lol.... demo guys really took their time to blow up mines without any protective wear.... WTH.. lol...

Ah... the 7days of fun and joy.... One thing i hate is the throwing out of everything in your bag in 1min and pack everything back in 1 min... and repeating it 3 or mroe time... grr.....

long 4 is good for protection aganist mosquitoe bites and thorns... the black gortex boots rules!!!! they are bloody comfortable~!!!!! wouldn't mind wearing them for expedition hehe..... And the gortex jacket rocks!!~!~! The government really know what stuff to buy for the soldiers =)

food rations were nice at first. Until you finished half of them, you wouldn't wanna eat them anymore...then variuous creative ideas of desposing them starting zooming into our minds... This was taught by one sergent: When "Stop fire, take cover" hehe... you know what to do....

Field signals are fun!! heheh...... my platoon would start playing around with them at company line for a while till they are bored.....

Then.. "Section! Straight ahead! 50! Behind tree! IC move! ON! Men move! RAID! ON! grenade! charge! Stop fire, take cover! ICE! SPIDER! ORANGE!" comes in, made the lesson rather systematic.. but fun

Slacked, when supposed to practice.... not us that slacked.. it's the segents that slacked with us! lol....shooting spiders... catching spiders and blowing them up with thunderflash.... lol.... small kids sia....

oh well... To sum up, field camp brings out the true self of people when they are bloody exhausted and mentally 'disabled'. It's a test of endurance and mentla strength. Saw some rather disgusting sides of a section mate.... behaving like a spoilt brat... screaming around and throwing stuff just because he's frustrated...hehe... intresting yah? hehe... need to sleep now... gonna cycle tomorrow....
